This is a limited time offer

Here is my green picture for DeeJay's All-A-Color Week. Wednesday is Green Day!
All the neighbors wonder how I grow these hostas so large. I think I just bought a variety that grows large and planted them in the right spot. All I really do with them is ignore them. They are good for attracting hummingbirds too.
Sister Celtic posted a green picture today and so did DeeJay. Tomorrow is pink day. It's National Breast Cancer Awareness Month and tomorrow is the perfect day to show off a pink picture. This is a limited time offer. There are only two days left!
The color assignments for the week are:
Monday is Red
Tuesday is Purple
Wednesday is Green
Thursday is Pink
Friday is Blue
P.S. Sister Celtic is going wild! She posted lots more green pics. Check them out here and here.

I used to have hostas in my house in pots and I'd open the morning blinds to let in the sun and before leaving for work would play a classical music CD for them. They liked it. So did I.
Holy hosta! Beautiful shot.
The lighting is superb, or is that photoshopped a bit? Lovely!
Happy Green day and those are some wonderful hostas! But, that sox logo is killing me!
DeeJay - You are good to your hostas!
worksformom - This shot is not retouched. I did luck out with the lighting though.
Mon@rch - I wouldn't blame you a bit if you had to take a break from visiting here. The Sox logo will be down in 5 days.
Oh, lilacs and hostas - neither of which do well in our alkalai soil and hot weather. Wish I had those and dogwood trees. Yours look great!
I love the fence!
Beautiful green! our soil doesn't allow much of the pretty plants but then we have bougainvillas to make up for that!
It's early thursday over here so I posted my pink :)
Thanks for sharing that link!
You still are finding the fun things to do, Barbara!
Does that Red Sox logo hurt? I never thought I'd see that up there...
:-)
I'm enjoying it, though.
Oh.. and your hosta is nice. Mine are all gone -- deer ate every last leaf.

The bees and butterflies love hostas, so I love them too. I actually have a photo today of hosta flowers, but I did it in b&w. This green photo is beautiful, Barbara.
I love your huge hosta Barbara!
That IS a gorgeous hosta! I have two varieties like you -- they are planted in a little kidney shaped garden in front of the house - lots of shade. But apparently one side of the kidney bean is preferable to the other because the hostas on one side are all TWICE the size of the ones on the other side! Every year!
