Reader Appreciation Day - Oct 7
Thank you to all the readers who comment and read here, I appreciate every one of you.
I really appreciate the readers that commented here the most:
This week three readers tied for the most comments.
This is J. Andrew Lockhart's third time featured here. He's a wonderful friend and blogger, soon to be published author. I'm honored that he reads here.
Jean-Luc Picard writes great fiction for all those fans who (like me) miss the television series Star Trek: The Next Generation. Jean-Luc will bring all the characters back to life for you and he puts them in hilarious situations sometimes. He's a gifted writer, enjoyable even if you're not a Star Trek fan.
WorksForMom used to be a software engineer, loves photography and is a Mom. Sound familiar? She writes a great blog over at What Works For Us. It's full of useful tips and information that work for her, and can work for you. She writes great comments too!

Thank you so much to the readers that linked here:

I would change my blog's name to Barbara's Blog. That name is well suited for my blog. This site doesn't fit into one category because I blog on a variety of topics. Just like when !'m talking to my friends we don't stick to just one topic, and I don't do that here either. I'm getting a blog make over soon, do you think I should change the name to Barbara's Blog?
I can't IMAGINE my blog by any other name! Soooo... I'll go with that... "a blog by any other name..."
I do NOT think you should change the name! I LOVE Trying to Catch Up... but... if you really WANT to... then you should!
Sometimes I think that I should change the name of my blog. But then I have no idea of what I might change it to. I think I mostly get the change bug when I see someone else with a really cute name out there. But at least my name is original (according to google.)
As for you, hummm I guess the Barbara's Blog is okay.
"Trying To Catch Up" is what I would change my blog name to.
Simply because I do not have much time to surf and because of that, I am always behind... infrequently updating posts, can't finish surfing other bloggers' sites as much as I want to and admire the many ideas and experiences other blogs churn out.
So, if you have "caught-up" with the cyber-world of blogging, then it is timely that you change your blog name.
It will be interesting to see the new make-over in your blog with tons of interesting ideas you bring in to share with everyone.
Will definitely come back again to see the new Barbara's.
Hey, why not just name it "Barbara's"?
Like... I'm heading to Barbara's.
Barbara, thank you so much for that mention. Your comments were lovely as well.
I can't imagine my blog under any other name. It would be what I'd call it now if I had given it a different title earlierr.
What a great idea to appreciate your readers! I think I will do the same!
Also love your title! THAT IS HOW I FEEL!! ;-)
Thank you so much Barbara. If I were to change my blog name I would go with "I'm Just Sayin".
I think you should name your blog exactly what you want to. As long as you don't change your url, you won't lose any readers. I have changed mine more than once and am very content with what I finally decided on.
BTW, I just left suldog (sp?) a short comment! =)
re: me not staying after all the hard work...well I was 18 and in lust at the time. I decided that he was more important than my family and college. Yeah, I was pretty stupid back then.
This very lazy Daisy couldn't think of a better name....I agree with Melli...no matter what you call it we will come!
Barbara- I come here daily because you always have something interesting!
I have no idea what I would call my blog.
It is wonderful that you let your readers know how much you appreciate them. I felt the sincerity of your tribute. :-)
Oh, Barbara, I have been thinking about renaming and transforming everything, maybe I need a change just to feel young again, lol!
Whatever your decision and even if you change your url, we'll follow! :)
I already changed my blog's name. At one time it was "North Farnham Freeholder," and I had some reasons for the name that were tied to my ancestry and science fiction. However it was bulky and awkward and not very satisfying... so I started looking for a new name.
I wanted a name that was short and that could be a domain name that wasn't already taken and was somehow relevant to my life. Then, when I was on my way home during the last weeks of my working career, I saw it: Exit78.
I transferred most of the last of the old posts over to Exit78 last week and deleted the rest. North Farnham Freeholder exists no more - except in the virtual vaults of online archives.
( I also have my photoblog at http://michaelgoad.com/photoblog as well as a couple of other civil war related blogs)
