I think that this post cracked me up...lol!
Don't think it would matter. Simply put it off.
Hmmm. Well, I'm a fan of my TV in the bedroom, but it only gets used when M isn't home. Which is frequently, but I don't think his travel schedule has anything to do with my love of falling asleep to the 10pm news...
My math is a little rusty. What's half of zero? :)
I personally don't like the tv in the bedroom, but my hubby does. So there so there is something to do if he is not doing something (or someone...heehee) else!
Congrats on your nomination!
MY WIFE and I have separate bedrooms (I snore like a roaring lion) AND she has a tv. I must really be in trouble...
We don't have a tv in our bedroom, but now I'm thinking I should get one!!! :D
We have one, and it comes in handy during sex...just turn VH1 Country on, and the volume up, and the kids won't hear anything you're doing ;)
This cracked me up and I had to try to explain to DD what was so funny.
I don't think it's the TV in the bedroom that reduces the sex...it's the one downstairs 'cuz I am watching it, while DH is watching the other. LOL! But we know how to shut them off.
I have such a good thing to say, but I won't ---
Andrew
I am an oftentime reader and commenter, but I'm staying anonymous on this one.
We have two homes. In one, we have a television in the bedroom. In the other we don't. Guess where we have more sex?
I think what happens is that if there is a tv in the room and one person turns it one while say the other person is getting ready for bed, then when you return to bed and the tv is on, you either (a) get involved in the program or (b) assume that the person is not interested in sex.
My husband wants to get a tv in the second house too, but I'm against it. It beats me as to why because he's the one who wants to have sex more often ...
Karin - Glad you got a laugh out of it!
FRIDAY'S CHILD - That seems like a healthy attitude to me.
Chichimama - TV puts me to sleep too.
Uisce - I'm beginning to see why some people think technology is a bad thing. Maybe you should move a TV or two.
Trinity13 - Sounds like he gets to have his cake and eat it too.
Suldog - Thanks! Well, at least you can blame the TV now.
Mama B - That's funny. I always said I don't want my son to have a TV in his bedroom, but when he gets a little older I may change my mind on that. Maybe I'll put three or four in there.
Jennifer - Good point, I wonder if the study took that into consideration.
Renee - My husband and I have very few shows we both like, so we mostly watch TV alone too. The only thing we would watch together was Star Trek, let me remind you that we are not geeks.
Andrew - Go the anonymous route...
Anonymous - That was I good idea to stay anonymous, I should have suggested it. If my husband has the TV on I don't even try to watch, he switches channels every two minutes, and it's infuriating. Aha - another question, is it the TV or the channel surfing that leads to less sex?
We women must be good, it's usually the men who want more.
I hate tv in the bedroom.
My ex loved tv, trouble was it was a kinda in/out in/out or on/off on/off scenario .... during the adverts .... doh
lotsa luv ann xxxxxx
I'm single man I wonder if I should get one for my room lol.
I'm still a fan of the Costanze Trifecta: TV, relations, and food.
Never had sex in the room with a tv !!
But now with the wife , thats a different question !!
How would you have sex with a tv ?
This bunch is beginnin ta scare me !!
hannala - :))), thanks for dropping by.
DwayneinBonanza - Apparently some people think it's better than...not having one.
Running2Ks - I remember that from Seinfeld - Good ole George.
Jabafatboy - That's funny, us scaring you. Thanks for dropping by! :))
