Holidailies
Well, this is my last Holidailies post. It was incredibly hard to come up with a Holidailies-worthy post everyday. Some days were better than others. I'm relatively new to blogging and writing and never experienced writer's block until Holidailies. That was a new experience for me.
I told some stories on my blog that I might not have except that I felt compelled to write something. I felt like I was writing with one hand tied behind my back most of the time. My challenge in blogging is that my husband does not want me to blog about him, so most times I just reference him as my son's father, a background figure in all the action. A false impression for all readers of my blog. I can't say more.
Now I've set the expectation of posting every day, I hope I can keep on keeping on.
Thank you to the Holidailies staff for reading all my entries. Your job was much tougher than mine. Thank you for hosting this event.

I'm not supposed to talk about my husband either. I know your pain.
I just assumed a ditto for me, as well.
Barbara,
Thanks for posting Stephen's trophy. If you like I have changed the html so that it links to his award ceremony. If you are interested you would have to delete the old one and re-paste the new one.
Anyways,I wouldn't have to explain all this if you were a geek, y'know!
You're one of my favorite reads! You always have interesting posts. I come here every day :)
ditto to all above! :)
Andrew
Oh I just joined and I think you are fabulous darling! :)
I found the same Barbara, but I also found that the exercise of having to write every day made my writing become more fluent and explore topics that I wouldn't have necessarily done...
But without holidailies, I wouldn't have 'met' you and for that, I am immensely grateful,
Minerva
Raehan - Marriage is full of blog fodder - all of it wasted.
Carol - Well, you and Raehan manage successful sites, so I guess I can do it too! Thanks for realizing how cool I am. :))
Veronika - Thanks - You're on my daily read list too for the same reason!
J. Andrew Lockhart - Thanks, I guess it's not so unusual. You have a great site too.
KDubs - LOL - Thanks Kdubs
Minerva - You're too kind. Every post of yours is a work of art.
My dh was home almost all week and finally noticed that I was blogging, so he asked what was up with that. I told him what a blog was..."just what people have on their minds." So he says "I hope that I am not ever on Your mind." LOL! I don't think that he has read my blog, but he has access to it. I'm pretty sure that he wouldn't be all that happy about it because I haven't been all that happy with him of late. But blogging has been a good outlet for it and only a few people know who he is and they know more dirt than I post.
This turned into a TMI book.
I was sorry to hear that my birthday was better than what you normally get. hugs Maybe I do expect too much.
I can write about my hubby, but he reads my blog all the time since he has one of his own...so I have to be careful with what I vent about! Heehee!!!
Most seem banned from reading about their hubby!
Wow! I would have NO material if Zube Boy wouldn't let me post about him. I think you do a dang good job with husband material being off-limits. :-)
Renee - Yeah, I think it is unfortunate not to be able to post about your spouse. They do make up a good part of your life, it's very difficult to post around them.
People put different levels of importance on birthday celebrations. We ran out of energy for anything more than having dinner out.
Trinity13 - I think there is a need for a secret vent about your spouse blog. Seems to be a universal thing. It could help marriages around the world.
Jean-Luc Picard - I wonder what they have to hide?
Zube Girl - I know, I think that those with recalcitrant spouses should get special blogging medals. Maybe I'll see if I can make a button for it.
We all love you, Barbara! Thanks for giving us some great reads over the holidays.
Thanks Anita - The blogging community is a wonderful place! Thanks for introducing me to it.
