Thursday Thirteen
I've been blogging for a couple of months now
Next week I'm going to think of things to write here through-out the week
I fixed the comments on my blog, no problem leaving a comment now
My umbrella broke in the monsoon rain and wind we had the other day
I back-dated this post so it would look like I posted it on Thursday
I worked from home today, I got more done with no interruptions
I have a Sarbanes-Oxley audit at work next week
A good friend dropped by tonight for a visit
I bought the book Cold Mountain
I didn't leave the house today
This is my first Thursday Thirteen
I used to knit
I once won a hula hoop contest

Well, you can't used to knit. :) Get out those needles and be cool like the rest of us. :)
hey, just dropping in to check out your 13 too!
i need to learn to knit, i have issues, i'm left handed, i need someone left handed to show me. a right handed person tried to teach me, but the way you hold the needles isn't they way i need to hold them. i could knit a very very long scarf, but that's about it, i want slippers, mittens and socks!
I like the way you think -- I did the same thing. I just found TT yesterday, but I backdated it so it looked like I did it on Thursday. And, as I'm reading some of the other 13 lists, I realize that maybe having a theme each week is the way to go -- need to jot down some of those ideas that pop in to my head for a theme before I forget them.
My list is here: http://www.myprairierose.com/CarolynsComments
Hi Barbara - Thanks for visiting. I'm with Dawn on the knitting thing. It's kind of like riding a bicycle - you never really forget. I love knitting. Welcome to the TT club and the blogosphere!
Wow, that's a bad time for an umbrella to break!
Why did you stop knitting? Is there a story behind that?
I backdate posts sometimes, too!
Here's my 13 http://jenanddavin.blogspot.com/ I'll go link to you now!
I'm so jealous that you actually have time to read! lol
You'll have to tell us if the book is better than the movie.
Thanks for stopping by my blog!
You have my sympathy. I'm in IT as well and SOX is one of the biggest pains.
Welcome to the Thursday 13! I'm going to link to yours. And thanks for visiting mine :)
Hi Barbara! Thanks for signing my 13. I"ve never really been too good at knitting. I seem to always loose stitches along the way. :D
Here's my 13
I tried to hula hoop this summer and kept it going for about 20 seconds. How anyone could win a contest at it is impressive to me!
Thanks for joining in on the TT's!
I don't know how to backdate...but can hoola hoop pretty good! Thanks for visiting my 13 thursdays.
Thanks for coming by! The movie traumatized me so bad that I don't think I could read "Cold Mountain."
I 'used to' knit, too. I hope to get back to it after Nanowrimo. I have an unfinished sweater for me.
Welcome to Thursday Thirteen. I'll link you.
I've never backdated but I often write my TT on Wednesday and set it to post on Thursday.
Along with Leanne, I wonder how anybody can hula-hoop long enough to win a contest, but I'll bet it was very funny.
Thanks for stopping by my blog! Great first 13! :)
Let me know how you like Cold Mountain! Thanks for stopping by the other day :-)
